My Learning experience in KodeCamp for 4 weeks now, the journey so far…
The KodeCamp internship is a virtual one and we use slack, this has afforded me the opportunity to understand the app more. It has prepared me for remote job as well in relation to the app been used for the program.
The internship is to run for 16 weeks and so I have 12 more weeks to go. I am currently in stage two, working on my task currently so as to get promoted to the next stage. Hopefully, I get to the final stage. The current task I am working on which is a landing page with HTML and CSS has made me understand more how to use the CSS Flexbox, use of a root class and pseudo-elements.
Going back on my earlier publication of what I intend to achieve from the internship; My understanding of JavaScript was greatly improved from the last zoom class and I’ve met some amazing people from the workplace. These is two out of my five intended achievement at the end of the program.
My experience from the internship has been amazing so far, the mentors have been awesome and very patient with interns. Also, they are always ready to assist interns and chat up to know if I am having any issues. One of my challenges is asking questions and time management (due to my job) of which I am working on.
